ur first “Founder’s 1806 Cask” is out of the barrel, and we are excited to share it with you. Personally created by Hillrock’s founder Jeffrey Baker, this release marries three old world European finishes — Madeira, Tawny Port, and Sauternes — into a unique Estate Rye Whiskey. Aged 5 years, first in #3 & 4 charred new American oak barrels and then finished in European wine casks. This remarkable whiskey expresses ripe cherry and boysenberry notes that complement the traditional rye spice with layers of caramel and velvety nougat, ending with dark fruit flavors. Limited to 240 bottles.
